Sonic Origins is a digitally remastered collection of the origins of Sonic, which includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic CD, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. These games come with a whole host of new additional elements, including support for 16:9 aspect ratio.

On top of the classic experience, the new Boss Rush mode offers players the chance to battle bosses consecutively, while Anniversary Mode removes time limits and grants an infinite number of lives to keep the fun going.

For those who prefer retro Sonic, Classic Mode allows you to play through the games in their original states. The Museum features tons of content from the series, including music tracks from other games and previously unreleased documents!

Players who clear the game will unlock Mirror Mode, which lets you play horizontally flipped versions of stages. Story Mode is a highlight as it neatly ties together the four titles in chronological order with newly created animated scenes that really bring the story to life.

The Plus Expansion Pack was recently released as a DLC expansion containing additional content for Sonic Origins. It comes with additional content that longtime fans are sure to enjoy.

Amy Rose makes her long-awaited debut as a playable character, and players are able to embark on an adventure with this all-new character. Unlike Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, Amy is able to use her signature hammer to whack enemies.

Knuckles can also be selected as a playable character in Sonic CD for the very first time, with the game also featuring a new route to tackle. A dozen Game Gear titles have been newly added, including Sonic Chaos, Tails Adventure, and the original four Game Gear platformers.
