Microsoft's had several opportunities to address the amount of devices running Windows 10, but apparently the company was waiting for the operating system to reach an even higher milestone.

In a top ten list posted to the official Windows Blog, Corporate VP of Marketing Yusuf Mehdi shared several facts related to the OS, with the most important fact being that Windows 10 has now been installed onto over 75 million devices since its launch four weeks ago.

To provide some perspective, 14 million devices had already upgraded to Windows 10 a day after its launch, and it was only a week ago that it reportedly reached 53 million, but those numbers were never confirmed.

Among the 75 million devices now using Windows 10, Mehdi also revealed that at least 90,000 of those are unique PC or tablets. Even hardware made in 2007 has reportedly updated to the latest version of the OS, though no specific models have been named.

It would seems that previous reports about mandatory updates and privacy concerns haven't slowed down the adoption rate of Windows 10.
