Most gamers have a dream PC in mind, with many building this hypothetical PC bit by bit. There are gamers who started off small by using a cardboard box as their CPU case and somewhat decent specs. While some mayome already have a proper CPU casing but lower tier specs. We all have to start somewhere, but have you ever heard of a PC built using a microwave as its case?

A man from Brazil called Lucas Cavalcante has built a microwave PC with a budget of approximately $900 only. Cavalcante lost his job during the COVID-10 pandemic and decided to build a microwave PC to save money.

However, he did not do this all by himself. His girlfriend of nine years gave him the money he needed to build it while he was looking for a job.

This was not the first time someone has built a PC out of a microwave. In 2019, a user named Neosalicious built his own PC out of a microwave. According to Neosalicious, it was a painful process that took two days to build.

Since then, they have built a newer version of their original microwave pc. The new version has a water cooling system and 3D printed several parts to keep the look and feel of the microwave.

It is exciting to know that someone is able to build a PC using a microwave as its case. Which begs the question, what else can be used as a PC case, and should one take the time to build their own microwave PC?
